Here's a question for you this week..
How can you love your "enemies" this week? By your
actions, words, resources...what are you doing to
love people whom you don't see eye to eye with, or
even those who have hurt you? I would love to hear
some stories of how you are applying this principle
in your life!

This weekend we continue our series called "Reflect"
with a message about judging others! Hope to see you
this Sunday!

First Wednesday

What a great First Wednesday service last night! First of all, hats of to the Knowles crew and Leslee Hicks for a great meal! Our times of worship are always great, but last night you could really sense that God was there and speaking to us. In case you missed it last night we tried something a bit different. After worship, we broke out into our small groups to discuss "Loving our Enemies" in our Reflect series. It was really awesome to see people doing life together in their small groups all over the campus! I'm really excited about where God has us an where He is taking us and I'm glad to be able to do it with some of the greatest people on the planet! See you again Sunday!

P.S. Guys....Sunday is Mother's Day....just a heads up! :)

Volunteer Spotlight

Hey Seacoast! This is going to be a new monthly installment from me!
We have so many people who make ministry happen at Seacoast. They humbly serve week to week and make Seacoast an amazing place to come and connect with God.

I heard this quote and it really resonated with me and reminded me of all of our volunteers at Seacoast: "Great churches aren't built on the talents of a few, but the sacrifices of many."

Thanks to all our volunteers who sacrifice so much to make our church great and help people become fully devoted to Jesus!

This is where you come in! Send me an email or comment here and let me know about a volunteer who deserves to be spotlighted!

Hey Seacoast Greensboro!

As many of you know, Carrie and I got to spend the weekend in Charleston, SC. We
had a great time just getting away and also getting to visit 4 Seacoast Campuses
in 2 days! It was pretty awesome, and I will talk about that in a little bit.
The one thing that stuck out to us most yesterday as we visited the other
campuses was how much we missed our campus! I can truly say that there is
nowhere we would rather be on a Sunday morning than worshiping and serving God
with all of you! I know you all enjoyed Pastor Jeff and Melanie and Will from
the Irmo campus. Drop them an email and tell them thanks!

It was really an eye-opening trip for us to see that we truly are "One Church in
Many Locations". That's not just a tagline. It's true. Everywhere we went, we
were family and you all are a part of that family. The leadership at each campus
are thinking about and praying for YOU! People at the other campuses wanted to
know what God was doing in Greensboro and how you all were doing. We really are
ONE CHURCH. Take some time this week and pray for our other locations!

Another thought I had this weekend was just how great you guys all are at
serving to create a Seacoast 'experience' that will help people become fully
devoted followers of Christ. Everywhere we went there were volunteers that were
not only doing tasks, but making ministry happen. Every single piece of what we
do on the weekend has the potential to help someone connect with God. You are
all doing an outstanding job! If you are not yet plugged in and volunteering in
the church, do it! God wants to use you in some way to lead people to a
relationship with Him.

Lastly, I looked at the success of the campuses we visited; the hundreds of
people worshiping and growing at each service we attended; and I realized that
God WANTS that to happen here. He WANTS us to reach as many people as possible.
He WANTS us to be an influence on our community. As much as I want it, God wants
it even more! I am just glad and humbled that I get to be a part of seeing that
happen, and you do too! Get ready...big things are just around the corner for
Seacoast Greensboro! Invite someone to come this weekend!

It's Pastor Greg's line, but I'll use it too. I love being your pastor!

UPCOMING!
Yard Sale THIS Saturday from 7:30am-11:00am- we still need some volunteers to
serve as well as your donations of gently used items! Please contact Carrie for

Hey Seacoast!
I hope you are all having a great week! This weekend should be exciting as we
are going to have a guest campus pastor and worship leader! Pastor Jeff from the
Irmo, SC campus will be leading our service this week and Will DiMirra and
Melanie Kinney from the Irmo campus will be leading worship! Just another
advantage of being one church in many locations!

This weekend we continue our series called "Reflect". I hope that you are
getting the most out of this by studying along with a small group. The study
guides are amazing and really help you to go deeper into the message each week.
If you are a part of a small group, why dont you drop me a note or email and let
me know how God is using your small group and this study to impact your life. I
would love to hear about it! Also, if you are interested in leading or hosting a
group, please let us know!

I also wanted to let you know that on May 3 from 7:30am-11:30am we will be
holding a church-wide yard sale right here at Seacoast! It's springtime and I
know that we all have things around the house that we would like to sell. Bring
it to the church on Saturday, April 26 from 1-3pm or after service on April 27.
We have a designated area where we can store donated items until the day of the
sale. Proceeds from the sale will go to Kidscoast! It is also a great way to
meet and connect with people in our community! If you can help with the sale,
please contact Carrie at carriethompson@seacoast.org or at 336-852-5630.

Hey Seacoast!

I hope you are having a good week this week despite not seeing the sun all week!
Well if you need to get out and about, your opportunity comes Wednesday night!
Join us for First Wednesday service! We will have dinner together at 6:15, then
worship together at 7:00. Don't miss it!

I am really excited about what God is doing in the church right now. I hear so
many great stories of life-change and it is all because of Jesus! It seems like
I have to say this every week, but this past weekends service was one of the
most powerful I think we have had. If you missed it, you will definitely want to
go to the website and watch the message from this weekend.

Let me remind you of the sentence that was the basis for the message. Im sure
that even though it's only Tuesday we could all use a reminder. Here it is: In
God's RELENTLESS PURSUIT of us he uses "NO FISH MOMENTS" to lead us to "BECAUSE
YOU SAY SO" obedience, resulting in BOAT SINKING MIRACLES that can CHANGE OUR
DESTINIES forever.

Keep that sentence in mind this week. How is God calling you to obedience this
week? What miracles does he want to do in your life as a result of you saying
"because YOU say so"? I can't wait to hear the stories of what God is doing in
your life as a result of your obedience to Him and His purpose for you!

Dont forget First Wednesday this week!

Also if you are NEW to Seacoast and want to know more, Newcomers is this
weekend. Plan to stay for lunch and get to know us and find out what your next
step is!

And dont forget that in 2 weeks we will be kicking off a new small group study
that we would like EVERYONE involved in! More information on the "REFLECT"
series to come!

See you all Wednesday night!

Hi everyone!

It's hard to believe, but Easter is almost here! I've read that the next time
Easter comes around this early will be the year 2228! I will be 255 years old
then....

It felt kind of strange having an Easter Egg hunt on the 3rd weekend of March,
but we did and it was amazing! Let me just say that you all knocked it out of
the park with this community outreach. It was a huge success! Let me just say a
gigantic "Thank You!" to all of you who were involved from stuffing eggs to
setting up, blowing up balloons, painting little faces, and everything else that
went into it. It was a blast and great to be out in the community!

This could be one of the most powerful weekends we have ever had at Seacoast. I
know that God responds when we open our hearts to Him, and this is a weekend
that many will do just that. I want to encourage you to take some time this
Friday evening and visit our Good Friday experience. The church will be open
from 5:30pm-9:00pm for you to come through and reflect, pray, and respond to the
remembrance of what Jesus went through for each one of us. It is a reminder of
how much he went through and it is a reminder of just how much He loves us.
Parents, this can be an amazing time for your family to go through the different
stations together and focus on what this season is all about!

Then Sunday morning we are going to celebrate the good news that we don't serve
a God that is dead, but a living God who wants a relationship with us. Please do
invite as many as you can to hear that message this weekend. You can be a
connector to the power of the gospel for someone this Easter. That can be an
incredible experience, and one that is not only life changing, but eternity
changing because of what Jesus accomplished by defeating death!!

I can't wait to worship and celebrate with you this Easter!
